Brush Hawg - Lever Action Package

A short, fast-handling custom lever-action rifle complete with custom leather sling and butt-cuff. An excellent choice for whatever you are chasing in the brush. This package, and many other modifications, can be performed on virtually any Marlin lever action rifle.

Package modifications and parts include:

• Shorten and re-crown barrel at 16.5"
• Shorten magazine tube if required
• Custom LPA ghost ring sight system with single post front sight
• Premium quality dovetail fill to replace factory rear sight
• Custom enlarged lever loop
• Smooth all ports, inside and out
• Modify loading gate for easier loading & unloading
• Extensive action smoothing
• Stainless steel follower
• Trigger job with DRC trigger
• Bobbed hammer
• Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad
• Custom leather butt-cuff ammunition carrier
• Custom padded "Slimline" leather sling
• Complete action dehorning

The buttstock is a Marlin replacement part, and the forend is the factory part which is thinned down. Both are refinished in a satin oil/poly finish. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad is also installed, as well as bedding the stocks to the rifle.

Installed cost is $499.
