How to Order

Payment

We accept Visa and MasterCard, in addition to personal checks, cashier's checks, and money orders. After January 1, 2010, checks should be made payable to Black Bag, Inc. Exact same folks doing the work, just a different name.

While some projects may require an advance deposit, full payment is always required when the project is completed, prior to shipment.

Shipping

We can ship virtually anywhere in the 50 United States. If you have a firearm and would like us to work on it, you are within your rights to ship it to us directly without utilizing the services of a local FFL.

If you are in Canada and would like to have your firearm repaired or modified, you can ship it directly to us. When complete, we will ship it back to you. Please refer to instructions below.

If you are purchasing a firearm from us, we will need to ship it to a local FFL of your chosing, who will then transfer it to you. We will need a copy of their FFL emailed or faxed to us (406.892.2433, but please call first) as early in the process as possible.

Pistols - Pack securely and insure for full value. Do not send ammunition in the same package as the weapon. It is not necessary to send your hard case or pistol rug. Insure for full value and ship via FedEx. Get insurance coverage verification in writing from the carrier and retain for reference.

Long guns - Pack securely in a plastic gun case, and then in a box. This will help protect the contents from damage and maybe theft. Insure for full value and ship via either FedEx/UPS Ground service or U.S. Postal Service. Get insurance coverage verification in writing from the carrier and retain for reference.

If you don't think that packages get damaged, lost, or stolen every day, you are kidding yourself.

Before shipping any firearm to us we ask that you place a letter of instruction, or copies of correspondence, inside the package with your firearm, and include your shipping address on it as well as ours, in case the label becomes lost or damaged.

Law Enforcement - Please include a signed copy of your NFA Exemption Certificates.

Also, please address the package to Black Bag, Inc or Grizzly Custom, not Grizzly Custom Guns. The less the shipping company knows, the better.

If your shipping company requires proof that we are a licensed FFL, follow this link https://www.atfonline.gov/fflezcheck/ and insert the following number in the appropriate blanks. 9-81-00958. You may print the information for your shipper in necessary.

Importing/Exporting

If you are outside the United States and would like to have work done or would like to purchase a firearm, please contact us for information on importing/exporting. We have a team of importing/exporting dealers that should be able to take care of the arrangements for a nominal fee.
