but is relocated to the absolute rear of the receiver for the best & fastest ghost-ring sight picture possible.

In addition, a 6-inch long Mil. Std. 1913 rail is attached from the front of the sight to the front of the receiver.

Both the rail and the rear sight are screwed into position on the receiver.

This will also work quite well on the long, full-length rail. The rear sight could also be removed to get the optic even closer to your eye.
