Exclusively Marlin lever action rifles since at least 2010. No Winchesters, Brownings, Ubertis, Savages, etc. So many Marlins, so little time…
I will strive to make your Marlin the best it can be, within your budget.
Please keep in mind that I am a one-man shop and am only able to work on one or two projects at a time.
After moving from Arizona to Columbia Falls, Montana mid-year, Grizzly Custom Guns was opened in late 2007. At that time Grizzly was building custom 1911’s, bolt rifles, shotguns, and lever actions, by all different manufacturers. After three years, and after being encouraged by several customers and industry professionals, we decided to specialize in Marlin lever action rifles. If you have an issue with a factory rifle, or one from another shop, Grizzly can most likely get it working again.
Most of the work in the shop consists of custom rifle builds. As such, it is very difficult to predict how long each one will take. Please be patient, I am taking as long as it takes to build the current rifle, just as I will on your project. While working on these projects, it is sometimes necessary to come up with unique solutions to unforeseen problems. This may also lead to the development of new parts. All of this takes time.
It is our goal to always have a satisfied customer at the end of a project. Not just meeting but exceeding their expectations.

Building Custom Marlins in Montana since 2007
Since opening the doors in 2007, many Marlins have come through the doors, some good, some not so good! The early Remlins come to mind.
I have built and worked on rifles from .22 rimfire to .50 Alaskan and most calibers in between. The most common calibers I have seen are the .30-30 Winchester and the .45-70 Government.
For the foreseeable future, I will only be working on Marlin factory chamberings. I will not be undertaking any caliber changes.
