Brush Hawg – $3,495
The package on which all others are based
The Brush Hawg was the original package for Grizzly. The list of modifications was based on the most common requests of our customers at the time. Over the past 18 years those requests have evolved. While most of the old package remains, there are some subtle changes. If you still want one with the older spec’s, we will do that too. This package can be built on your 1894, 1895 or 336, in either blue or stainless, pistol grip or straight stock.
Thoroughness
We don’t limit our work to the package contents. We inspect the entire rifle and bring potential issues to your attention.
Upselling
We will not attempt to upsell you goods or services, never have, never will. We will make suggestions based on your needs.
Built on your rifle
All of the packages Grizzly builds are built on the customer’s Marlin. We will no longer provide the base rifle.
Remlins
Most Remlin rifles have a few issues that are easily fixed. A few may require extensive work which may cost extra.

Brush Hawg Scout – $3,995
This package is essentially the same as the standard Brush Hawg with the addition of a rail-mounted Burris Scout scope.

Change in Procedure
In years past I would accept all projects into the shop once a scope of work and price were established.
Starting January 1, 2026, I will begin discussing new projects with prospective customers. Once we settle on the scope of work and price, I will require a 50 percent deposit, payable via cash, personal check, certified check, wire transfer, etc. I will not accept credit cards for the deposits. I would also ask that the rifle NOT be shipped until I contact you and request it. If I am sent rifles I am not expecting, I will simply refuse them. This will benefit both of us. I will not be required to have insurance coverage on literally hundreds of customer rifles, and you will be able to enjoy your toys in the meantime!
Once I request that the rifle be sent in for work, I will ask for the balance of the agreed upon price to included as well. This will keep me from chasing money once the project is completed. Remember, I am a one man shop. The only thing I have to sell is my time and expertise.
At the completion of the project, if there is a small amount due to Grizzly, or to be refunded to the customer, we can work that out quickly with a credit card if need be.

I just received my 1894SS Brush Hawg that you completed for me. I just want to thank you for the smooth transition and take the time to say…WOW!…what a beautiful job on this rifle! It was certainly worth the wait, and I can’t wait to get it out on the range. You and Chance (LeverGun Leather) are true Craftsmen, and thanks for being gentlemen to work with! This is now my absolutely favorite firearm and it will be a treasured heirloom in my family for many years to come.
