Tactical – $3,995

The Tactical package has the same basic modifications as the Brush Hawg. To that, we add a black painted stock, XS Sights Scout rail, and railed forend. The original forend was a Grizzly design which we are almost sold out of. When they are gone we will transition to either the Magpul or the Midwest Industries forend. This package can be built on your 1894, 1895 or 336, in either blue or stainless, pistol grip or straight stock.

The package details are to the right, with options below. If you do not see something you need, or if I have overlooked something, please do not hesitate to holler!

Grizzly Custom Marlin 1895 10-twist

Change in Procedure

In years past I would accept all projects into the shop once a scope of work and price were established.

Starting January 1, 2026, I will begin discussing new projects with prospective customers. Once we settle on the scope of work and price, I will require a 50 percent deposit, payable via cash, personal check, certified check, wire transfer, etc. I will not accept credit cards for the deposits. I would also ask that the rifle NOT be shipped until I contact you and request it. If I am sent rifles I am not expecting, I will simply refuse them. This will benefit both of us. I will not be required to have insurance coverage on literally hundreds of customer rifles, and you will be able to enjoy your toys in the meantime!

Once I request that the rifle be sent in for work, I will ask for the balance of the agreed upon price to included as well. This will keep me from chasing money once the project is completed. Remember, I am a one man shop. The only thing I have to sell is my time and expertise.

At the completion of the project, if there is a small amount due to Grizzly, or to be refunded to the customer, we can work that out quickly with a credit card if need be.

If you are interested in having this package built on your Marlin, please call the shop or send me a note from the contact form below. Unfortunately, there is no way to simply click & buy, sorry. That is the whole one man shop thing again!

Thank you for your understanding.

Testimonials

Lew,

Sorry I have taken so long to get back to you. I received the rifle and it looks great. I wanted to take it out and test shoot it before writing to you. I have tried 4 different types of ammo in it so far. Two 300 grainers, a 405 and a 430 grainer. They all shoot well, didn’t need to adjust the sights at all. I am very pleased with the work you did and will recommend you to anyone.

Thanks again for a job well done.

Hello Lew!

This is VB, just giving you an update on the Marlin Guide Gun you worked on for me. After having put 80+ rounds thru it, I have to say I’m very impressed with the quality of your work. The fit and finish are outstanding – in fact it has to be one of the prettiest guns I own. But more importantly it shoots like a beast. I still can’t put more than 40 full power rounds or so down range in one sitting without acquiring a flinch, but it’s an awesome set up thanks to you. I’ll highly recommend your work to anyone who asks, and you’re definitely on my favorites for any future work.

Thanks again Lew!
